Meetings
The Federation of the Alliances Françaises USA holds an open Convention and Annual Meeting every fall, to which are invited officers, staff and all members of the AF's around the country, sponsors and interested guests.
These annual meetings, with their numerous workshops, discussion sessions, and exhibits, allow participants the opportunity to exchange ideas and discover ways of enriching their cultural events and course offerings, as well as their marketing and fund-raising efforts. The program also includes receptions, luncheons and a tribute dinner at which the Charbonnier Award is presented.

The Alliance Francaise of Bonita Springs (FL) welcomes you to the 2008 Assemblée Generale to be held at the Naples Hilton and Towers. Room reservations are available to AF attendees at the rate of $119 per night. Please note that the reservations are under Federation of Alliances Françaises, USA.
The nearest airport to the Naples Hilton is in Fort Meyers, FL and is called the Fort Meyers Regional Southwest Airport (RSW are the code letters for the airport). There is local airport limousine service and Rental Cars available at the airport. We will supply contact information for the limo services shortly.
If you're a golfer, try to get to Naples in time for our Early Birds Luncheon at the Pelican Marsh Golf Club, at 1:30PM on Wednesday October 22, followed by a nine hole golf competition. There are also other local area golf courses available by arrangement with the Hilton Hotel.

Friday Evening - Prix Charbonnier Dinner. Award of Prix Charbonnier to Louis Kyle of France Amerique Magazine.
Saturday - Workshops and Federation Board Meeting
Saturday Evening - Clambake and Pétanque on the beach.
Sunday - A day at the beach
First Call for Workshop Proposals for the 2008 Meeting
Download, print and fill out the Proposal Form and send it to Becca Broderick, as per the directions on the form.
In certain parts of the United States, Federation members also organize Regional Conferences so that AF's in the same geographic area can get together and discuss mutual concerns.
