Technical: IDEAL TECHNICAL REQUIREMENTS: • 1 keyboard with adequate amplification • 1 handheld wireless microphone + stand • 1 microphone on boom stand for piano player • Depending on the size of the space, stage monitors may be necessary • House PA • Adequate stage lighting (general stage wash, RGB down light (capable of mixing to amber, purple, and pink), follow spot with operator capable of taking cues from a set list or script, front special focused center center, down special focused center center (racoon effect)) • All operators must be capable of taking cues from a set list or script and follow directions form a previous rehearsal. MINIMUM TECHNICAL REQUIREMENTS: • 1 handheld microphone for singer, if corded, slack must be long enough to walk entire stage with no obstruction • 1 microphone on boom stand for piano player • House PA • Adequate stage lighting (general stage wash) • All operators must be capable of taking cues from a set list or script and follow directions form a previous rehearsal
Honorarium: 75 minutes on stage: $1500.00 (Negotiable). Proposed Terms (if any) for Travel or Lodging: 1) If the Cabaret is in Florida – no travel cost, one night/2 beds in a hotel; 2) If in another state – flights to and from Florida to the venue, one night/2 beds in a hotel (East Coast), two nights/2 beds in a hotel (West Coast). Availability: Any time except for dates already booked.
Program: The Cabaret is presented in both languages (70% English – 30% French). Special terms or offers for AF chapters in particular: For no additional charge, Tangi and Marcelo can come to French classes to teach French songs to AF students. Terms and costs are negotiable if grouping a number of gigs together in the same region.
Bio: Bio Tangi Colombel: Tangi Colombel is a native of France. He is an actor and singer who appeared in various plays and musicals like “Jacques Brel is Alive ” and “Les Liaisons Dangereuses” at Palm Beach Dramaworks (FL). He was featured in the French Movie “Bienvenue à Bord” and the American Film “Step Up 4”. On television he has been seen in a French version of “My Big Fat Obnoxious Fiancé”, in Netflix’s Bloodline season 2, in CBS’s MacGyver season 4 and several Telenovelas produced by NBC/Telemundo in Spanish. Recently he was seen in “Le peignoir aux Alouettes”, a French modern Vaudeville at the Fillmore Theatre in Miami, appeared in different commercials such as Sprite, Johnny Rockets, Western Union. He has been touring all around America and the world (Korea, Japan) to reveal what French Cabaret is really about in his own show “Pardon my French”.

Bio Marcelo Pizzotti: A native of São Paulo, Brazil, pianist, composer, musical director and producer Marcelo Pizzotti started his musical studies very early on. At the age of 17, he was already traveling around the country playing with nationally well-known artists. At 24 years old, he began his international career as a director and a musical producer. He has appeared in more than 30 countries in Europe, Africa, Central and South America. He has had the opportunity to play for renowned international artists in various musical segments, including one of his favorites, Musical Theater. He currently resides in Miami, Florida, splitting his time performing various shows with local and international artists, and also recording and producing in the musical field.
Blurb: Pardon My French! An artist from France jokes about his peregrination from his hometown to Palm Beach, and sings old-fashioned French songs with audience participation. Pardon My French has been performed with success in Palm Beach, in Miami, at the Elgin Fringe Festival (IL), and at the United Solo Festival in New York City, and will be presented at the Fort Myers Fringe Festival in April 2020. This French Cabaret Show is performed by actor/singer Tangi Colombel and pianist/musical director Marcelo Pizzotti. It is designed for an intimate audience (up to 200 people). Some material may be inappropriate for younger audiences. The show never touches on sensitive subjects such as politics or religion, etc.
