Master Chef, James Beard Award Winner, Maître Cuisinier de France, and “Chopped” Champion Jean-Louis Gerin will offer a 1 hour “LIVE” class from his kitchen in Greenwich, CT on “Demystifying Sous Vide.” Gerin will demonstrate professional techniques that will make your sous vide experience at home fun and safe.

Sous vide, which means “under vacuum” in French, refers to the process of vacuum-sealing food in a bag, then cooking it to a very precise temperature in a water bath. This technique produces results that are impossible to achieve through any other cooking method. Food remains moist and delicious!
