The AF du North Shore organized a watch party for the opening ceremony of the 2024 Paris Jeux Olympiques at a clubhouse in Glenview, IL. Around 20 AF members and their guests shared potluck treats and cheered the athletes on the various barges forming a parade on the Seine. During the social event, initiated by Eileen Walvoord, AF membership chair, the attendees marveled at the creativity of the organizers and the feats of the performers along the river.
