Your donations help support educational programs and cultural activities available to the entire 34,000 strong membership
of the 102 chapters in the Alliance Française network in the U.S.—the largest Alliance Française network in the world. These educational
programs, cultural activities and offerings include the following:

Annual Grants from the Federation to over 25 chapters annually via our Chapter Grants Program.
This program awards grants to local chapters covering programs in Youth Initiatives, Cultural Programs, Educational Initiatives,
Infrastructure support and Visibility.

Federation cultural events that are free and available to all members of the Alliance Française network across the USA. Last year the
Federation supported over 25 cultural events that were available to the entire Federation of Alliance Françaises membership and the
general public.
These events included discussions with authors, museum curators and historians covering a wide range of French and
Francophone topics.

Monthly sessions of French Cinémathèque, where a conversation with Mr. Peter
Debruge,
Chief Flim Critic for Variety, is held. This initiative is part of the Federation of AF USA’s collaboration with Telescope
Film.
Each month a Francophone film is chosen that is currently available to stream; members watch it independently, then come together for a
conversation to discuss the film with Mr. Debruge.

Monthly chapter sessions, covering chapter leadership and management best-practices and the latest in educational initiatives throughout the
USA Federation network.

Access to Culturethèque, the educational platform provided by the
Institut Français, which offers French news, comics, novels, current affairs, self-training modules, books for French-language learners,
easy/beginner French readings, articles on the humanities, concert recordings, web documentaries and more.

The One Book One Federation program which encourages and
facilitates the reading, understanding and discussion of a new prominent novel in French each year.
